    Pa10 (.308)

Gen II PA10 came in today. Nothing special, but fills a niche as I wanted a 18-20" AR in .308. This is 18". Put some iron sights on it for now.
Will change out pistol grip and will either pad or replace buttstock. Came with a 25 rd PMag. Uses the same mags as my 16" LR308.
BTW At $599. I could not pass it up (LOL).

    Looks good.

Let us know how well it shoots.

I need to order some mags for mine. LOL

    I forgot to buy some.

I have been helping out at a local shop for the past few days and the number of these that have come in on transfers is crazy. You got to love these prices. I believe we can thank Hillary for this.

Careful - ARs in .308 can be addictive. I kind of scoff at my 5.56's now

Yea, I bet thy sold a bunch. There is somethings a .308 can do that a 5.56 can't, but I like them both. I will have to add this to my list of rifles I need to shoot.
It will be after I have knee surgery. Really like to see a night vision scope on this, but time will tell (LOL)

Buck I just read your post as I was not familiar with the PA 10. The price was right and from what I see.
I would be a good candidate for a conventional buttstock.

I have not shot it (along with others) yet. No good excuse as I could shoot off my front or back porch if I wanted, but knee needing surgery has slowed me up and
my building project has taken most of my energy. This fall, cooler weather, I should be back in operation and do some shooting. BTW I am guessing shooting it
will be similar to my LR308.

I got my second 18" Gen 1 kit about an hour ago.
( I already have an 18" built, just never got around to shooting it.)
I opened it up and looked at the upper.
It looks good. I didn't open the bags of parts yet.
    Now I hope it works.

(last week or so I found a 20" PA10 in one of the safes that I need to finish some day)
It needs some lower parts ordered for it. ( special for the PA10)

Now to get them ready and take them to the range for a function test.

I plan on using A1 stocks on all three of them. (Just need to order the .308 tube, spring, and buffer)
