F/S Service Grade M1 Garands CMP

CMP just listed Service Grade Winchester M1 Garands for sale. Winchester were only made during WW2 and always bring a
premium over the Springfield's and HRA's. It has been while since CMP listed service grades of any type and do not expect
    these to last long.

I went ahead and sent in order for 2 of them via express mail. Order should be there Monday.

Well sent my order in a U.S. Mail priority express mail package, guaranteed to be there by 3p.m. Monday, has disappeared. Last scan was it leaving local area to parts unknown.
I had always used FedEx for these type of priority packages and now I remember why!

That happens a lot with them. I've had packages delivered to me that when I checked it said was still at the senders post office branch. Got home and it was at the door.

Maybe it is there and they never scanned it at drop off? I do know USPS gives pretty scanty tracking info, where UPS/FedEx will give you arrival/departure from every stop a package makes.

Yes, USPS tracking sucks. You never really know where your stuff is located. Hopefully yours gets to it's destination.

Delivered 10:49 this morning - 2 days late. I paid $23.00 for Monday delivery NLT than 3 p.m. Taking my receipt to post office tomorrow morning to get my money back.
(Says guaranteed deliver by that date, or money back.) Just goes to show if it is something critical (this wasn't) do not use the post office for express delivery!!!!

Hey Chief, Let us know how this turns out. I can't wait to hear the excuses they try to hand you.

Dang, forgot the receipt this morning, will put in my truck so I will have it next trip to town. Small town and I know the folks at the post office so don't
imagine they will give me a bad time, might have a few excuses though (LOL).
