Just bought an IBM stock for my IBM carbine.

Been looking for one to replace my unmarked post-war stock my carbine came with. It's a Type III, JL-B(Jamestown Lounge Co.
Jamestown, NY) marked with a decent cartouche. The recoil plate marked PR-B(IBM). It also has an armorer's tag on it that I think is Dutch. Can't wait to receive it and put it on!

Looks great and nice to have matching stock with cartouche
The close up photo of the tight grain Walnut looks like late 1940's Winchester civilian rifle & shotgun stock
By the way the Dutch armorer's tag is cool to have as well
We thought about it for a long time, "Endeavor to persevere." And when we had thought about it long enough, we declared war on the Union

Thanks. I have been wanting an IBM stock with a cartouche for a long time. Finally found one.

I think the tag is very cool as well, dated and everything. Just looked it up, Koninklijke Luchtmacht means "Royal Netherlands Air Force".

Nice looking stock and the extra history makes it neat to boot.

Thanks. I hope it looks as good in person.

I like the history too. It's neat to have that. I have never seen a carbine stock with a tag like that.

Looks real good to me, your carbine is going to look great with it.

Thank you! Itching bad to get it in. Now I need to find an IBM marked walnut handguard to go with it.

Just looking up data on Netherlands M1 carbines. The U.S. "gave" them 84,523 carbines in 1963 under MAP (Military Assistance Program).
