    Very professional/informative video. I am a fan of the M14 (even have a couple of polytechs) and cool to see what can be done with them.
    Occam's razor, the simplest explanation will be the most plausible

    My FIL has a Polytech. He has never fired it but the friend he got it from said it shoots and functions just as well as a GI model. I think I'll try and shoot it next time I visit.

    Great job on the video and the rifle also. It makes me want to dig around and take my old M1A out to the range.

    Very nice Henry. And to think - I traded my M1A for a Winchester 1897 Ohio National Guard Riot Shotgun and kept my Polytech M14S!

    Hey thanks guys. Honestly if I knew it would take this long to complete this project I would have thought twice to begin with... but now that it's done and I have a one of a kind rifle, man it'll never leave me!
