    WW2 German Army Sword

Figured this would fit with thread. Little different for me - a WW2 German Army sword with Nazi Eagle & Swastika. Thinking I can use it
with some German weapons for display. Just got it this morning.

Very nice Chief. The German steel was considered some of the finest when it was at its peak.
For those who fought for it, freedom holds a flavor the protected will never know. Those who hammer their guns into plows-will plow for those who do not. Thomas Jefferson

Nice and I have never seen one before
We thought about it for a long time, "Endeavor to persevere." And when we had thought about it long enough, we declared war on the Union

Nice! To make it really authentic, a German should own it - let me know if you need any help finding one! :-)

LOL, I am mostly Scandinavian, but also have German ancestors. Maybe that counts

Way back in 1700s some German ancestors of mine left Germany (with a religious group) for England and after a bit were asked by the English Crown to migrate
to the Colonies. Landed near NYC, were told if they worked for the Crown a number of years they would be given land. Crown did not come thru, they
rebelled, put down by Crown. They eventually did get their land and one of my ancestors from that line latter fought in the Revolutionary War against England.

    NICE Sword!
Just last weekend I too lucked into one hanging up in a local pawn shop.
Its a different maker than yours.
Seems the makers each had small differences in how they did the details.

Nice to know so much about the family history! But honestly... "back in the 1700s" does not count anymore :-)
