Port buffer on a cast CETME receiver ?

Anybody know if the port buffer for the HK G3 from RTG Parts
    ( SKU HKK - 2034 ) will fit a CETME /cast stainless steel receiver ,
thought I read somewhere that the cast receiver is a little bit larger
in dimensions as opposed to the stamped one ? and the buffer is
a really tight fit to start with .

I have a cast SS CETME and the HK one. the receivers are pretty thick, so I kinda doubt it will be a easy fit.

I sent an e-mail to RTG the other day asking the same question as above ,
haven't heard back from them yet , meanwhile I was thinking it might be possible
to modify the buffer by filing the two mounting edges a little and
streach it a bit so it would fit the cast reciever without being to tight ?
or if that is not possible try the silicone trick ( read about that in another
post here , sorry I can't rember who wrote about it ) of putting some silicone
on the reciever were the mouth of the shell case hits ?

you can try that as well, or do what I did, just let it be. other then a little paint scraping it's not hurting the receiver.
