Hey Scott. I went with the enhanced unit from Fulton Armory, with a NM front sight and the Midnight laminated stock. I thought long and hard about getting the Tanker because I really like short, light, handy rifles. I went with the std. length because while with my eyes I really need glass on a rifle, I don't like the way they hang off the side of a Garand. I need the longer sight radius because I'm staying iron sights with this. Also, the std. lenght Garand just looks "right" to me.

Got a gear review for you today. Spent some time at the loading bench yesterday as all the recent rain has my range closed for flooding again. Was in the right place, right time a couple weeks ago. Guy I work with has a brother that just sold his FAL and was getting out of .308. Asks me if I'm interested in some brass and primers. Brings a bag to work with 385pc. processed milsurp mostly LC. Cleaned, decrimped, trimmed, and sized. Just needs the case necks deburred and primer pockets uniformed. Also had a box of CCI LR Magnum primers in there. When he said $40 I couldn't turn him down lol! That looked like a big wrist ache finishing up that brass by hand so I got a Frankford Arsenal case prep machine. 4 spindle and lots of torque. Works great. Here it's set up with both case neck chamfer tools, primer pocket cutter, and a case neck brush. This will save time and wrist pain. Never mind the mess, it's always controlled chaos at the loading bench.

I usually reserve my weekends for the bikes. Rain kept me off the road, but I got some tuning done. Plugs were a little dark, and off idle a little woolly on the H1. I pulled the OE carbs off for a set of PWK28's and still fiddling with tuning but getting close. Dropped the needles 1 notch.

Yep, always something to do around here. How's your reloading going? Set up for the Mauser and '03 yet?

Not yet, I have been too busy this year so far to take the time to get into it. Soon I hope.
