    First Cetme C build finished.

Here's a few pics of my first cetme build and a few of the steps along the way. Thanks again everyone for help with this project.

Here's a few of the finished rifle.

First I removed the "evil" bits.

    IMG_20180402_50466.jpg

Demilled the old receiver to rescue the trunion and cocking tube. I had to ream out the triple frame to accept the heavier profile ptr barrel.

    IMG_20180402_39933.jpg

    Then folded the receiver flat.

    IMG_20180402_5720.jpg

    Welded it up.

Then made a pusher for the barrel out of a grade 5 bolt, I trued it up and cut it to the depth of the trunion so I could use feeler gauges to monitor how deep it was going.

    IMG_20180402_7483.jpg

Then pressed the barrel. Ended at exactly .02 bolt/carrier gap.

    IMG_20180402_53830.jpg

Got the trunion and cocking tube welded in. Used a .027 gap on the cocking tube.

    IMG_20180402_52381.jpg

Used the endmill to drill the rear pin holes, they were slightly into the rear weldment and would have walked had I used a drill press.

    Refinished the old furniture.

Obviously there are steps I skipped like clipping and pinning the grip frame and the denial weldments etc.
For my seven 922r parts I used us made cocking handle, receiver, ptr barrel, comp and 3 parts for us made magazine. I will probaly install some us made trigger parts if I can round them up.

So far I have only tested for function and it shoots fine, hopefully I'll get some on paper this week and I'll get some results posted.

Great work and great pictures, thanks. May I ask, what did you use for the top rail? I want to do the exact same thing.

Here's the rail piece I used. It took some time getting it lined up where I wanted it. I ended up using a level on the rifle then leveled the rail and put a set of ar15 iron sights onto the rail with a lazer boresighter to verify it was pointed where I wanted it before I welded it.
