Picked up a pair of Maks

Got both pistols, an original circle 10 holster, 2 aftermarket holsters, 4 mags, and 400 rounds for $500 out the door. Don't think I came out too bad. They're Russian commercial Makarov's. The sights have a tenancy of backing out the screw. I'll add rubber shims to tension the screw and that should help out.

Going to get a set of pierce grips for this one probably. Someone cut down the lanyard loop.

Those are nice. I think you got a good deal. I like them with the red grips.

I like Maks. They are good solid shooters IMO. The price is very good also. Make sure to clean the firing pin channels. A bit of grease can turn one into a full auto pistol. (Full semi-auto?) Ask me how I know. I like the red grips a lot, until I shoot with them. Then the rubber grips come into play.

Nice find - both look good. I am not up on pricing, but seems like you got a good deal on them. I like shooting the Maks.

As long as I'm not out of country I'll be there this fall. Missed it due to a death in Heather's family. It would have been a crapp drive back too. The half of MN I would have had to drive through got 12" of snow. Always the risk of the spring show.

I really like the red grips but that's why one will get the pierce. A lot more pleasant to shoot.
