Hats off to you guys who figured out how to and were able to do the FCG's. That was the one step that kept me from doing one of these kits. With SMG's parts kit it made it doable for me. I am going to do a re weld build this next winter and already have the parts on hand. Going to be interesting to see how it goes with the re welded rec. I have a nice selection of cut sections to work with.
Another thing that is a big plus is both Bowman Arms and SMG have barrels available!

Anyone doing builds from the cut parts and providing semi receivers or do you have to buy barrel separate from semi receiver and then find someone that has done or wants to continue doings DPMs???? I have a ice Polish parts kit - matching

Most guys that were have stopped. They're quite a bit of work to get going. I've got one together that is done with SDK''s setups. Needs to be fined tuned. Ill probably offload it shortly as we just had the tray blow on our car last night.

They had my kit since Oct 2020 (about 6 months so far) was told by them it should be done soon. Cost for me should be about $2500. I had my own barrel. Not cheap but I'm told they do great work. On YouTube Forgotten weapons has a video on a semi DPM from SMG.

I don't see anywhere in their store to order a complete build, just receiver re-weld and semi-auto parts kit?

for those attempting these now days...

there are 2 new variations out there.

1 is a variation of my set up. it runs an AR FCG in a 3d printed box & is made by a member over at WG.

another is a completely different FCG that uses its own lay flat hammer set up. its also over at WG.

there is nothing quite like building a firearm yourself & feeling the satisfaction of troubleshooting & solving the problems.

IF you dont like troubleshooting & cant/wouldnt enjoy the process of "finding the solution"?

then save yourself a lot of cussing, hassle & probably cash & buy one from someone who does like doing those things. :-)
