    CMP 1911 Order Forms

CMP order forms will be published for download 4 Jun. Prices look reasonable for the 3 grades. Orders can not be postmarked prior
to 4 Sep. This will give a person a couple of months to get order packet ready.

Some probably silly questions on these.

Silly question #1: Are these all going to be Colt 1911's?

Silly question #2: Are these all going to be Government marked in some way, United States Property/unit marked or something similar?

    Thanks, Scott

they're going to be all the ones that the gov't contracted these manufacturers to make for the military; COLT, REMINGTON RAND, ITHACA. I suspect that if there are any SINGERS or UNION SWITCH AND SIGNAL ones, they'll be on the CMP auction site since very few of those were made.

all USGI M1911s/ M1911A1 are going to stamped indicated they are US property.
