    Roll back the years
1898 Krag, very little finish left on her metal.
I have to say the musket length rifle has good balance

We thought about it for a long time, "Endeavor to persevere." And when we had thought about it long enough, we declared war on the Union

Nice! I bet there is little recoil with that weight.

Beautiful Krag! I love the loading gate on those.

Very nice, Awesome wood, I actually like the Rifles over the carbines in the looks department..

You know for all the people who flip out and comment on the smoothness of the Lee-Enfields Bolt action.
The Krag has just as smooth a bolt action and may be better..

Very impressive rifle, you should be proud
One question has India, NATO or Pacific armed forces used highly modified FAL rifles like yours as snipers rifles in combat for the non stop wars/conflicts
operations and peace keeping missions since 1990?
Similar to the modified M 14's 2nd or 3rd life if you will (Hard to put my thoughts in a coherent sentence)
Example European forces in Desert Storm/Iraq/Afghanistan, Indian combat in the Himalayas. Australia/NZ Pacific peacekeeping missions

No clue on the year, just a pic I found on the web. I'd really like to run a belt of ammo thru an MG42 sometime. I was watching AHC while cleaning the crud out of the Enfield, and they were showing the evolution of MG's. Maxim, Lewis, BAR, Bren, etc. The sound of that MG42 was amazing, and it put a lot of those rounds on target.

I have to agree on the sound of the MG42, pretty awesome to hear it fire off a nice string.
