    The carbine is M49. Barrel looks barely 16", but IIRC more like 18". Both a Cz Brno designs. Brno helped Persia set up production in Persia (Iran). The carbine was
    made in Persia, very well built (beautiful) rifles.

    Can you show a close up photo of crests.. the Persian made rifles, Quality that they are, often show a range of subtle crest variations mostly in the sword area..

    Here you go---both rifle/carbine, including crests are cherry, but picture a little fuzzy. I think I have a better picture of them I can add if I can find it (LOL).
    Found another one on rifle and added it.
