Sorry to hear that Buck, hope you get well soon and the antibiotics work fast. Hopefully you caught it in the initial stages.

It's apparently been a bad season for tick and mosquito born diseases as we got warnings in Texas.

Man, that's awful Buck! I hope you feel better soon.

Has anyone tried 100% deet repellent with ticks? I used to use that for black flies and mosquitoes up in Maine, and for chiggers in Mexico. Worked great for all those. The brands I remember were Muskol and Ben's 100.

    Thats too bad Buck.

I havent tried 100% deet but Permethrin is what we use at work for ticks. It works so well I use it during hunting and trapping season. It's amazing how well it works.

Antibiotics must be working, started feeling more human yesterday and ate something other than crackers (LOL). Again, take care going into tick country, use deets or something.
Lyme's is not something you want to get.

I have had a couple of tick bites this year, but they say 60% of those who get it don't even know they were bite. Little seed ticks are hard to notice too.
