    Ever wonder what the Army did with the rifles captured in the Indian Wars

    This is from the Bannerman 1889 catalog..

    That's pretty cool. 50 rifles for $300 and 15 revolvers for $75. Awesome! A lot of money back then but still nice.


    Edit : Just did the Inflation Calculator from 1898 up until now.

    $300 = $8,686

    $75 = $2,172
