    Ammo ID

PU 200 rd battle pack of PPU .308 for $100. and 200 rds of milsurp 7.62X25 (Tok) ammo for $55.00. Question is on Tok milsurp.
It is marked "nny 82" with red sealant around primer. Anyone know who made the Tok ammo?

My dealer also had a 250 rd belt of 30-06 A.P. in can. Both can and ammo were marked "43". Neat WW2 can.
Unfortunately every 5 rd (tracer) had been pulled off belt leaving 200 rds of A.P. on it. I passed for now
as it is corrosive and I am not sure even if I pulled the 30-06 off belt if the belt could be used in my 1919??
I know A.P. that used to be common range ammo is pretty scarce today. He was asking $150. for the ammo
on 250rd belt and and WW2 ammo can.

I think the Tokarev NNY is Yugo (PPU )

    From Cartridge Collectors Site:

nny rvi Partizan-Namenska Proizvodnja, Titovo, Uzice 31000, Yugoslavia. These are actually Cyrillic letters equal to "PPU in the Western alphabet. 1

Thanks! they are Cyrillic letters, but best I could type them is "nny". I have seen that lettering some time in past, but could not remember what it was about.
PPU made some good ammo, so should be good milsurp.

Great price on that 7.62X25. Wish I could find some locally like that.

I was happy to get milsurp TOK. I already had 250 rds of it, but should have that PPS43 up and running soon, so needed more. I have some commercial TOK,
but IIRC it is not loaded as hot as the milsurp stuff. No Russian translator here, but I do have someone that translates Bubba speak (LOL)

It is always nice to have good Milsurp ammo, it just seams fitting.

So, where are you at on the PPS43?

Had to correct Form 1 and sent it back a few days ago. Should have stamp for stock within 2 weeks.
