    Looking for a post.

There was a post awhile back about a company making new receivers that were engraved to copy Colt A1 markings. It was a group buy of 10 receivers or something like that. If anyone knows about this post, could you help me find it?

    Thanks, Scott

there was a group buy on A2 and A4 lowers.

    I got several of them.

Brownell has some A1 lowers, but the first one were not correct.

NODAK, Makes some, but there is a 6 to 12 month waiting list.

Edit: None had the Colt markings on them. Ghoulardi is correct on this. (Read post #6)

Well, the ones I'm trying to find were completely marked as Colt receivers. Horse, government property, Colt's manufacturing, and all other Colt markings.

you're describing what COLT called a reissued retro M16. they original came out with the rifle back in 2016. they never made or sold the receiver only with the M16 markings on it, and no other firearm manufacturer made or dare make a lower using the trademark prancing pony and the COLT name and sold them, those are trademarked they would have been slammed down hard.

now, there is a company called dog fight inc that makes a stencil for 15 bucks that folks use to electro etch a 80 percent lower that makes the lower look exactly like a COLT M16 marking.

go all the way down to post 42, there is a picture of the lower that someone used that stencil to electro etch a 80 percent lower that looks exactly like a COLT M16 lower. it even had the registered trade mark for the prancing pony.
