    Star model 30m

On Friday I read a post on the Colt Forum about a small project (as it turned out) to import the STAR MODEL 30 M and brand it with Coltís logo to sell them. Only 10-11 were ever made before the idea was scrubbed. The Model 30M was a hi-cap 9MM (15 round magazines); it was even submitted along with guns from Beretta, Colt, Sig, HK, etc as a replacement for the venerable 1911/1911A1.

So on Saturday my local gun dealer has a STAR MODEL 30M. Three hundred dollars out the door.

Sounds like a good deal. And looks like one. I hope it serves you well.

That's a nice looking pistol. It's not the same time frame as my Spanish 1916 Mauser, but would pair up with that as I would like to have a pistol to go with it. Will look for your range report.
