    Spare parts for AR15

IT IS TIME TO START THIS!

I have been watching the inventory of a few vendors ( some have a live count of what is in inventory).
I watch them to see if they are restocking. (It is something I have done for years)
    So< this is just a heads up...……..
Now it is time for everyone to do an inventory of there own parts and figure out if they are going to do any more building.

IT IS TIME TO BUY THOSE PART YOUR GOING TO NEED.

I started with lower receivers, then LPKs, etc.
Then I counted the small parts to finish a rifle to see what I needed to buy.
    Yes this is basic stuff.

Then I started watching the vendors and what parts they were restocking.
When I find a few vendors not restocking a part.
It may mean that the company that make the part, may not be making the part.
This is where the shortage begins. next is panic buying.
You don't want to be in this group...………

I started my counting (months ago) and have it done for what I am needing.
Now I am watching the sales and buying (and a few extras).
The vendors know if some of the parts dry up, then what they have in inventory may not sell,
So, it just feeds on itself, it is a big circle.

It is the small parts that drives the cost up on building.
I still have a few more small parts to buy to get what I need.
Then I will buy parts that are a good deal and use for trading.
There are others out there doing this as I type this.
It is nothing new, it has been going on for years...

    JUST A HEADS UP.

    GOOD LUCK!
    RON

I have 2 finished lowers I need uppers for. Also 1-2 stripped receivers just put away. Have a fair amount I put togetehr over the years, so was in no hurry to finish these.
Panic will happen again, maybe 2020 election or something before then will set one off. Parts are so cheap that I agree with you some may not be restocking and some
manufacturers may have stopped making them or really cut back on production.

I checked on the prices on the AR parts that I usually buy today.
Many of the dealers are out and the prices on the LPK's have already doubled from DEC 1, 2018 and some have already tripled in price.
I suspect some dealers have been holding back some of there stock and for the panic, if it comes.
I have been doing inventory on my parts just to see if I am missing anything.
    So far no problem.

I started taking inventory over the weekend of mags and parts. I lost tracks of what I actually have after our last PCS so its a good time to get organized again before any sort of panic buying.

I have noticed that LPK prices havnt been hitting the lows they were through the back end of 2018. Regularly I would see LPK stuff at around 35 bucks but now its been pretty sparse with most stuff at around 45 bucks... I have seen more LPK sets without the trigger, hammer, disco. BCG's surprised the shit out of me with rapid price drops in 2018 which made it common to find em for 50 bucks. 2018 was a odd year imho.

I counted my BCG's last night and I am down to a couple dozen.
Looks like I will be ordering a dozen or so today or tomorrow, $50 is a good price.

I also found a box full of the hammer, trigger, disconnect sets, so I will buy some LPK's with out them if I can find some around $20 a set.

I have bought several things from them in the past without issues. They regularly post some really good sales on reddit under the /gundeals subreddit.
