    Spanish military beret

Does anyone recognize this beret? I got it at a surplus sale in the 1980's. The only pictures I find on the internet are from auctions for similar (yet beat up) ones that say things like "1930's", "Spanish Civil War", etc.

From what I've gathered, the emblem is from the Nationalist faction of the Spanish Civil War, but it seems like it could date from any time up til the 1970's.

It looks pretty close to their standard issue Beret for Regulars.

The emblem looks close to their current Army emblem

We thought about it for a long time, "Endeavor to persevere." And when we had thought about it long enough, we declared war on the Union

I saw these in Spain in the 70's.
