The oldest steel magazines (older than yours) that I have seen are the following:

    G3 HK/ 9/59 12-120-1142 vertical
    G3 HK/ 3/60 12-120-1142 vertical

    but have seen:

    G3 HK/ 10/60
    G3 HK/ 12/60

    How is yours marked?

I didn’t even realize that any were made in 59? I thought all production started in 60?

You trying to figure out when they changed how they were marked? Could you post a pic of the vertical marked ones? I have never seen one marked like that.

I would also be intrested if anyone knew if there were any changes made to the design of the steel magazine during the time it was produced? Also how long were the steel magazines produced for?
