    FM Argentine Detective

Stopped in a local shop looking for a Hi-Power. Kind of found one, not what I had in mind as I never ever knew these existed. It''s an Argentine copy with a short slide. Price was really good so I snapped it up. Finish is in excellent shape. Looks to be shot very little. Supposed to be in the 20''s tomorrow so I'll sneak it out for a few magazines worth.

Thanks Ron. The Israeli Hi-Power I have fits my hand perfect. Something about how they styled it, no other pistol feels as natural. I really like the short look of this one.

I got it out yesterday once it warmed up. The grip is wider and wrap around. It''s fuller in my hand but comfortable. I shot 2 mags through it flawlessly. With the weight of the steel frame, there is little recoil and gets back on target fast. Accuracy was pretty good for my abilities. I really like this thing. Definitely glad I picked this up, I can see it being frequently shot.

Now back on the prowl for a hi-power as I originally intended.
