SE Ohio......photos of recent Marietta shooting event.

May 19.....was any one here.......there.??? Several from the Pittsburg area participated.......at least one from up river Ohio.

I recognize many of the others, but dont know where they are from.......like other events, this one is slowing. At this point, I believe it is from the lack of cheapy surplus ammo supplies.........

First time for my Grandson......I have gotten old & feeble (??? I am told this is kinda normal.?!!) so I recruited him to load, unload truck here.....unload, then reload truck there........then unload truck here. Gave him a water cooled & lots of ammo. My firing pin spring broke about 3 hrs in....not sure of the time. Piddled with that nuisance long enuff to forget to take pictures. Replacement lock wouldnt fire deep primer Yugo, so I had to sort out the ammo supplies & make sure Donna had all the Yugo......her gun didnt miss a beat & neither did grandsons. Had several minits nusiance w/Donnas gun when a bullet pulled out & dropped the powder into the workings. Lotsa sprayed oil from pump bottles got her going again. While cleaning her gun two days later, I found her firing pin spring in the bottom of the receiver. Must have happened during cleaning.

Any ways.......here are what pictures I did get......Donna is encouraging Doug to quit piddling w/.50 & play with GE 134......looks like he did.!!!!

I wasn't there, but my sister-in-law lives in Cincinnati. May hafta coordinate THAT visit in the future.

Pretty neat stuff. Never been to a MG shoot, looks like great fun.

Recognize Rory in your pic there Sean. I've made it to a lot of events but have yet to make the travel over to Ohio. Looks like a good time.

    WM,

yeah that was just an impromptu thing that PJ called 1 morning & said: "hey we are gonna shoot if you wanna run up" Lilly & me grabbed some ammo cans & hopped in the truck & ran up. It was her first time shooting a FA beltfed. THINK she was 8 in this pick? so it was about 14 years ago?

Rory & PJ are 2 dudes who just dont age.
