    Armytimes had it wrong, there was a lot of incorrect info out on the web before the release of these 1911s. The Army was allowed to release 10,000 1911's the first year, they released 8,000. These did not come from Korea, I don't even know that Korea was loaned any 1911's
    These pistols have been in the Armys possession for many years in storage
