Still working on that. There is a guy out of KC that says he has WW2 slides and parts. Going to try and get hold of him this weekend.

Found and received a wartime slide and parts for it! Got everything installed just a minute ago. Missing the rear sight now. Almost ready for the range!

Received the rear sight from GPC, it's the wrong one. So, despite that, I took it out to the range this morning for a test firing. It ran flawlessly! Not a single malfunction of any kind. I ran three different brands of FMJ ammo through it. Geco 73gr, PPU 71gr, and Fiocchi 73gr. All ran equally well. These HSc's are fun shooters. They fit/feel good in the hand and have very low recoil. I will be shooting this much more.

Time to strip it completely down and take it in to get parked. Also still trying to find the correct rear sight for it.

As long as the gun leaves looking better then the shooting bench you are good to go

I'd assume you'd wait for the park until you have the correct rear sight so it can all be done @ the same time?

    Nice work!

Bummer about the rear sight, but glad to hear it's a good shooter.

    Thanks!

Lol! Bunch of idiots out there that like shoot at the wood on the bench and the firing lines. Friggin morons!

I think I will just have the slide and frame parked and leave everything else blued. The bluing on the trigger, hammer, safety, and ejector is in pretty good shape. I have not completely decided on that yet.

I'll find one eventually. Thanks, it appears to be so far. Couldn't tell for accuracy but it functions great.
