Falcon Arms Trigger Reduction Kit question

Was shooting my m1a last weekend and checked the trigger pull at about 6 lbs. This seems perfect for me.
Also had the FAL with me and shooting much worse due to heavier trigger pull. I checked the FAL at about 12 lbs!
I ordered a Falcon Arms Trigger Reduction kit and had ONE question. Do I need to replace the hammer spring also?
I guess the hammer spring does have some effect on trigger pull but not sure about possible lighter primer strikes?
What do you guys that have done this recommend?

PS My search showed PLANNING installed some of these and did not know if he installed all 3 springs ( hammer, trigger, and sear )?

    Thanks!

normally if the kits supply new springs then you would install them and "start from scratch". In some rifle springs, you would start at zero with the compression screws and adjust from there....but you may already have a spring compression weight you like and just use that.

remember some springs need a bit heavier compression because they are dual workers using the compression force to "return" the mechanics back to "start or re-set"
These heavy springs can be a bear to get a desirable set weight for your rifle.....

Trigger "jobs" are more than spring replacement and it looks like you have that covered with the Falcon Arms kit

    good luck

Thanks for the info. I think I will replace all 3 softer springs and if I have an issue with the hammer spring ( light primer strikes ) I can always put the original spring back in.

I replaced the 3 springs and reduced the trigger pull down from >12 lbs to 6.5 lbs. Much better

PS I figured there would be some FAL users on this forum....I guess not?
