    My "new" Mauser 1914 pistol.

Just got delivered to my house. 1929 from the serial number as far as I can figure. All numbers matching. Beautiful bluing on it and almost perfect grips. Bore is great as well. Been wanting one of these for awhile. Bad indoor cell pics for now, better ones to come tomorrow out in the sun.

This is kind of different to what I have been reading and researching. A lot of these went to the German Police. They were marked as such on the front of the grip frame as well as the matching serial number and a I/II on the magazine. Mine is not police marked on the frame but has a matching police marked magazine. Kind of strange. Anybody have ant input on this? Nice to have an original numbers matching mag anyways.

Nice pistol. I see .32acp dies in your future.

Lol! Thank you! I slept with it on my pillow.

The finish on this thing is really nice, especially for a 90 year old pistol. Hard to tell from the really crappy pics.

Thanks! I might have to. I have also acquired another German .32 ACP pistol that I will post at a later date. The Mauser HSC that I am building is in the same caliber as well.

Very nice! The fit and finish is outstanding on these. Mine feels like a new pistol, everything is tight and crisp. No play at all anywhere. These should be more expensive than they are. Quality pistol.
