    Thanks! Not bad for 90 years old. It looks a lot better in person, a few light spots on it though.

Not all of them were marked on the frame but almost all of them had marked magazines like mine. He is going to try and cross reference it to other known serial number ranges to find out which Police unit mine was issued to. Cool!

    Found another mark on it. It's a G on the left side under the grip. Some kind of production line marking I suppose.

    cwo4uscgret, does yours have a marking in this area?
