Thread: WW2 Era Long Rilfes

    Nice picture, I did a grouping like that several years ago. On a side note out of the 10 pictured four rifles did 90% of the work.

    From left to right it would be #3 #6 #8 and # 9

    Numbers 2 and 7 did next to nothing but target practice. Number 10 is more of a WW1 rifle, however did see limited use
    at the end of WW2 in Germany.

    The K31 is IMHO the best of the bunch but not my favorite do to it's History of just being a target rifle and never seeing true combat.





    I did this grouping back in 2012

    Truth is most are about the same, however I would give the edge to the K31 for accuracy.
    As far as Combat performance who knows. I would like to see how well It would have performed
    in North Africa's sandy environment like the K98/Enfield/Carcano did.
