Thought would be the reason. Not much difference in cost vs generic rounds/bars.

    saw this Woodbutcher….

The Silver American Eagle is the world’s only silver bullion coin that is authorized U.S. legal tender and fully backed by the U.S. government for its silver content, weight and purity. Consisting of 1-ounce of 99.9% pure silver, this staple of wealth protection is an ideal choice for those looking to add an affordable precious metal to their portfolio...

I know I know....what am I doing up at 330 in the AM.....

If you have gold, I'd move it to platinum or silver - LOT more upside in BOTH of those at the moment. Silver could easily double, and still be off it's all-time high. Platinum has started to move of late, but is STILL greatly undervalued.
We have no government armed with power capable of contending with human passions unbridled by morality and religion. Avarice, ambition, revenge or gallantry would break the strongest cords of our Constitution as a whale goes through a net. Our Constitution is designed only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate for any other. - John Adams, 2nd U.S. President -

Both brother and I were just talking that we should have bought more, but we tended to hold off thinking maybe silver/gold would drop. Anyway it took off and left us behind (LOL)
I view the gold/silver coins I have more as a collection, not something to flip, but we will see what happens.
