    Good to see you still on this side of the dirt. I went through this with my Dad, independence is not something that they want to give up, but then again how many of us would want to either?

    I'm glad you're OK. We had a similar thing with my wifes 90+ father. It finally became too much for our time and skills. It was very difficult for the whole family. We did get him to an assisted living home. A couple of them. You have to stay on top them. We found a home a block away from our house and visited almost daily. We would take him out to breakfast or dinner now and then. He set the time he was comfortable being out depending on how well he felt. He passed several years ago. Best wishes to you and your family. It will work out.
