I have yet to try it out. I have heard that the recoil is not as bad as one might think. I have purchased a variety of different loads: 00 Buck, Mini Buck, 2 - .65 Ball loads, #4 Buck. As long as the kick is not as bad as my dad's Winchester Model 71 in .348 Winchester, I will be fine. A real bear rifle and a bear of a kick. That is my benchmark against which all other firearms recoils are measured.

Love that Saiga 12 of yours. I see a number of different weapons in it. The H&K sights, the Galil cocking handle, the FN-FALish Para type folding stock. And that door breeching spiked compensator is just wicked.

Let us know what you think after you test fire it.
I will. I purchased it through Atlantic Firearms and got it for $899. A bit much, I know, but I figured I should buy it now or I may never get the opportunity again. I sometimes wish I still owned my dad's farm back in Arkansas(Madison County). I was able to walk out from the porch to the field 50 yards away and target shoot all day if I wanted.

Oh, well.... Life is about change.

Update: 9/7/15 I finally took my KSG to the range. Recoil is stout but manageable. Shoots really nice; action sweet with no failure to feed or eject. I posted a new link in the Range Reports if interested in specifics or the target photo. Kool as a jewel.

Mossberg 930 SPX semi-auto 12 gauge. It is now equipped with a flashlight and a red dot reflex sight. I also have a Benelli M1 Super 90 semi-auto only and I think that the Mossberg actually cycles faster then the Benelli.
Integrity is doing what you say you are going to do...

My new HD gun, the Hk imported Benelli M1 Super 90, made in 1994:
18.5" bbl, improved cylinder screw-in choke, 4+1 capacity. Pistol grip on the stock, the blade and notch sights (Defense model)

    Pix:

I have since added the extended mag tube, stops just shy of the 18.25 inch bbl. Holds 7+1 of 2.75" shells.

This is my first semi auto shottie. I am the second owner, first owner shot it a few times, then stored it for a decade before selling it to me due to his moving out of state. The price was GREAT.
