    heat gun makes it all run right out of there onto some rags... then when its done dripping out a nice gas bath & then a good wipe down & oil back up.

    remember back when we first stated getting parts kits covered in this stuff? we used to scrape it off with Popsicle sticks.... & there was that unfortunate incident where i tried that dishwasher trick.

    DONT EVER DO THAT ONE!! unless you want to buy a new dishwasher.

    I use a heatgun and an old rag. Warm 'em up and wipe 'em down. Easy as pie.
