    My 2020 container garden.

    Finally took some pictures of my garden for this year:







    The deer seem to have a preference for my pepper plants this year:




    Now the good news:
    Got a couple of Anaheim peppers coming in already.



    This is my bucket of Calibrachoa:



    Weird thing is that, although this is an annual, I planted it 3 years ago. As you can see, it’s still going strong.

    thats all ya need bud.

    wife did bucket garden last year. got way more stuff than we needed & still gave stuff away. This year she had to have fancier buckets. LMAO

    will grab ya pic tonite, we took a squirrel cage that we made for rehabbing them & put the buckets in it. its critter proof that way!

    Most years I mix my own with bags of soil, composted manure and vermiculite. That’s a lot of work and I just wasn’t up to it this year so I just used bags of Vigoro all purpose potting mix. I put 4-6 inches of styrofoam packing peanuts in the bottom of the containers first to help with drainage, For feeding I use a home recipe from the Jerry Baker books. For pest control a combination of companion planting (marigolds, mint, basil) and home recipes.

    Looking good! Been working on ours, plenty of rain, but need some sunshine and warm weather.

    ive gone container rather than raised beds..light wasn't good enough where the beds are...I've planted squash, tomatoes , beans. cukes. different types of each.....ill try to get pics when the rain stops
