    A Few more photos

Or, guess who has time on his hands.
15-20 years ago at a gun show I bought a south western themed case for my Navy Arms 44-40. Maybe ten years ago it got dipped into the used motor oil pan. I've searched for a long time trying to find another one. No luck. Last month I stumbled onto the website of American Mountain Supply https://www.americanmountainsupply.com/cases and found the cases I had been looking for. I have one pistol caswe and just got one rifle case. It's 40" long inside, which fits the 37.5" long lever guns perfectly. They have other lengths too. The pistol cases come in many sizes.
The hard case is a Plano with custom inserts provided by Fallout fire Arms owned by Mike of the Cetme Forum of years past, here in Las Vegas. The case is heavy but strong. Fortunately (or not) I found my camera so here are the pics.

We have no government armed with power capable of contending with human passions unbridled by morality and religion. Avarice, ambition, revenge or gallantry would break the strongest cords of our Constitution as a whale goes through a net. Our Constitution is designed only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate for any other. - John Adams, 2nd U.S. President -

while that hard case looks all pretty, I would not keep the rifles stored in them, I would secure them in a safe. foam has a bad tendency to absorb humidity and that in turn will rust up your firearms.

only thing a case is good for is to transport firearms to the range and back.

The guns don't live in the case, I have proper storage for them. If I'm just taking one shooting it will go in the soft case. The foam is 1" thick all around and the gun will be well protected in normal runs into the desert. The hard case has five latches on it and could probably survive a trip onto the freeway tarmac. Of course I would have to lose my tail gate for that to happen. There are different SW designs offered, three I think. If this company advertises I can't find it. I'm very happy with the quality of both cases.
    Go get one War Wagon!
