Good stuff, but old hat for us oldsters. I was 2 then, and missed it, too.
We have no government armed with power capable of contending with human passions unbridled by morality and religion. Avarice, ambition, revenge or gallantry would break the strongest cords of our Constitution as a whale goes through a net. Our Constitution is designed only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate for any other. - John Adams, 2nd U.S. President -

At age 19 I was anxiously awaiting my draft lottery number....as my college 2S deferment went away. Lots of good music...but didn't go to Woodstock....that was for those damn hippies. Wasn't worried about the commies over here....just the commies over there. The guy certainly was ahead of his time.

I was 11...Ahhh, the good ol' days...I had my Schwinn Apple Krate Stingray, and was dreamily looking forward to the day when I, too, could "kill a commie for mommie"!!!

I was 16 and the commie threat was very real. I saw every point he makes successfully implemented as they did it all legally while the country watched. This can end in two ways... One way if we are to be rid of it...... shall be neither peaceful nor friendly. The other way we just keep on keeping on.
