    Saiga's

Mitche06 posts made me drag out my Saiga's. Been a long time since I have messed with them. I bought them some years ago from Centerfire Systems. Back then
WASR10 were dirt cheap and Saiga's inexpensive. Unlike many guns in my collection I have actually fired and sighted in all the rifles in the photos.

Both the Saiga 12 and .308 were restocked by me. Because of that both received reverse triggers to make the trigger pull manageable. They work well.
The Saiga 308 is sporting a Leopold scope and will reach out distance wise.

One was bought in AK47 config and takes regular AK mags. (The rest take Saiga mags only.)

    One is skeleton stock .223.

I have two in rifle versions - one 7.62X39 and one .223. Both came with 10rd mags, but have 30 rd mags for them.

I bought them back then as they were nicely finished solid weapons for the money. Compare one WASR10 I bought back then and you can see a world
of difference. BTW the WASR10 may look rough, but I have never had a problem with the 3 I have. Very dependable. Same with the Saiga's.

    Nice collection!

Interesting "reverse" trigger. I have never seen anything like that. Is the purpose to make the trigger easier to pull?

With the standard stocks your grip tend s to pull the trigger back and up. By adding rear pistol grips it made the trigger pulled more down and actually would pinch finger between
trigger guard and trigger. The reverse triggers solved that. They are also quit wide making it easy to get the trigger finger on them. And yes they make the trigger pull
    lighter.
