no ammo shortage

Don't let the title fool you, we all know ammo is getting difficult to find in many places and it is by no means cheap if and when we do find it. Well today changed that just a little bit for me at least. One of my LGS had to take on a large amount of linked in the can Lake City 50 BMG in order to get any other ammo from some outfit he made a deal with. Well the good news is he doesn't want stuck with it and is selling at his cost plus tax. I haven't seen 50 BMG this cheap in over ten or twelve years. So like the title says there was no shortage for me today.

there is no ammo shortage where I am...........all I have to do is go to my basement and all the ammo for my guns is right there

I can agree, like you there is no shortage at my house. It was just nice to find something that wasn't priced like it was made of gold.

Lake City 2019 head stamp. It may have been meant for there and just not shipped I don't know. But when it's less than three bucks a round including taxes and you don't have to wait for or pay shipping I'm in. Watching for a COVID Check and hoping he still has more.

Definitely not for Isreal. That isn't hebrew, its arabic or Farsi.
Vista outdoors is the company that owns federal, CCI and I can't recall who else. Used to be ATK running the Lake city ammo plant so it makes sense that it would be sold by Vista. Could be contract over run or out of spec for the contract but should be safe and good ammo.

there really is no ammo shortage.

watch the video from the guys at SPEER talking about it. We also have a long time member at WG who works for CCI, he says the same thing, they are running at full tilt with OT. No shortage its going out in semi's round the clock.

7 days a week.... 12 hour shifts.... 10's of millions of rounds a week being produced.

its more of a question of::: where is it all going?

Very interesting. So, somebody or some entity is stockpiling billions of rounds of ammo. Democrats? Lol! Conspiracy theory starting.
