I was gonna print off one of those when he posted it on WG a while back. Really easy to print.

I might print one just to see what dimensions he used. I still have a flat or two sitting around somewhere.
I won't know until I've made one and tried it. I'm sure he has the material and fill rate in his notes somewhere. I know solid PVC works just fine because I've made jigs from it. Printed stuff unfortunately has a grain to it and pressure perpendicular to the grain can split it.
In the Thingiverse link under printer settings he has the infill listed at 15. In the description he mentions 15% gyroid infill... Seems like you'd want it to be solid though.
"Recommended print settings. It's printed in eSun PLA+, standing on end, .16 layer height, 8 walls, 15% Gyroid infill, .45mm line width(with .4 nozzle), 107% wall flow and 120% infill flow to "overstuff" the layers for better layer adhesion, a higher than normal 220°C and only 70% cooling fan, again for better layer adhesion. These are the basic setting for all my "strong" parts. Using these setting I get significantly stronger prints than the "standard" print settings, at the cost of a not quite as smooth surface finish."
I wouldnt worry too much about it being too little. A time comes with infil percentages where you reach a point of diminishing returns where creating a solid print isnt worth the extra material nor the print time as it will have the same strength with a lower infil setting. Printing in gyroid gives you not only a time savings in printing that pattern but also the ability to withstand say being used in a press. PLA+ typically is "stronger" than regular PLA but I think the jury is 50/50 on that claim last I looked. Im not an expert nor did I stay in a holiday inn express last night, im just a fool with a printer.
