bent receiver advise

Hey guys awhile back I got a receiver flat from RTG parts
and I downloaded and printed the jig from Jeff's website (sorry if I got the name wrong) after printing the mandrel and the fillers the bending went quite well for a plastic press! so after tacking it together I ran the bolt carrier thru and it stuck and took a lot of force to get it out.
so I ran the mandrel with the fillers thru it several times and now the carrier still takes pushing to get it all the way thru the receiver but it's much easier now.
is there any advise to fix it? even if it was 1mm wider I think it would work fine. but I am not spending 300 plus for a steel mandrel that I will only use once.
any advise would be awesome, I been messing with this too long lol thx guys

if you are capable of printing out a mandrel......

then you are capable of printing out a mandrel that is 1mm wider to push thru it.

have you checked to see if this is a racking/warping issue vs a true width issue?

make sure it bent good & straight. if this is the only issue you have? its not hard to fix.

the rail behind the ejection window is where the carrier gets hung up and I have to push it out, so I think there may be a slight warp to it.
I can 3d print the stuff but I haven't learned how to design or I'd double thickness the filler pieces I think that would do it.

Actually what I said won't work because looking thru the front, the rail on the right hand side does have a slight hump in it so that is what is rubbing on the carrier making it stick. I'm thinking of getting a 1 5/8 inch bar and just milling out slots for the rails shrugs might work f I do it straight.

Sometimes the bolt locking lever drags on the receiver and pushes the carrier offsides a little.
Do you have the bolt head installed on the carrier for the drop test?
If so, is it pulled forward away from the carrier?
If not, is the locking lever on the carrier dragging inside the receiver? If it is, remove it from the carrier or install the bolt head.

Yes the bolt is on and it it unlocked

the right side there is no gap on the top of the rail after I force it down a little then it drops.

that looks pretty good.

when its that close its gonna change with just adding the rear stock & putting a little pressure on it, let alone a front trunny.


im actually impressed if a printed set up did that good on the first try.

The bolt does drop when I do put pressure on the back of the receiver finally after some tweaking
Now I'm on to the trunnion, and the weld plugs I grind out while demilling, I noticed there is no holes in the new receiver it just has the pin holes, do I drill out holes? I reckon so huh lol excuse my numbness it's my first cetme c build.

the other issue I'm having is the cocking tube but seems holescreek has that all covered. I did find if you smack a 1/2 inch deep socket into the sleeve it is great for straightening it out lol
