Your's must not be under a foot of snow!

It's coming. Lol. Going to the range at 2 and stopping by the LGS on the way home. I'll tell you all then with some pics.

Hint: It's Military surplus but with a couple of added extras.

Upper 40's, sunny, and breezy here today, Started to put a dent in the 12" snow pack, for sure.

50's and rainy the rest of the week. Should be able to FIND the range next week... I think.

It was beautiful out at the range yesterday, 64 and sunny with a bit of wind. Only 2 other people there when we arrived. They left about 30 minutes later and we had it all to ourselves.

I brought out my new to me FN M1950 Mauser chambered(from the factory) in 30-06. Pretty rare post-war Military Mauser only made for 2 years. More pics and info coming on this one soon. It came with a vintage Weaver k2,5 scope mounted on it, that's the different part for me. Unfortunate but fun and easy to shoot for my old eyes, very accurate. My buddy brought his new to him Spanish 1916 Mauser re-chambered in 7.62x51. It shot great and very fun as well.

Target and sighting in. PPU 150gr. FMJ Garand ammo.

Center target was the first shots. It was hitting low and I walked up the elevation until center then fired a 3 round group. Bottom 2, adjusting windage. Just needed a couple of clicks left. Top right finished up with this one, 5 shot group. Good enough for me. Top left, my buddies group.

That's a nice FN M1950. Too bad it got bubbarized but it looks neatly/professionally done and I'd gladly give it a home.
Curious as what ammo your buddy was running in his Spaniard. He is aware those are chambered for the 7.62 Cetme round and not 7.62x51mm NATO, right.
