Thread: Midway M1 Carbine magazine.

    In the 3rd pic it looks like the left(right side in the pic) feed lip could use some attention as well, its bent down a bit.
    I have a couple mags in similar condition. Look rough, but work perfectly after a good internal cleaning.

    E.T.A.: for those that dont know IA or AI marked carbine mags were manufactured for Inland by the Autorye Co. in Oakville CT.

    I'd give just about anything to go back to when this magazine was shiny new.............

    The mag cleaned up well. All of the surface rust and gunk is gone. The base plate and corner are now straight. The follower moves freely. Soaked it in Kroil for about 2 hours then took a brass brush to it. Worked great.
