HK/Cetme 5 round mags at Midway.

On clearance sale today for $14. Pretty good deal if somebody needs one. Great for bench shooting.

I'll probably go grab it today or tomorrow and report back.

Just got back from Midway. The mag looks to be in pretty good shape. I also picked up a MAS double mag pouch in the hopes my two 5 rounders would fit in it. They do, perfectly! It has nice little straps that you can pull the mag out with. Neat!

    I ordered six of them.

Five barely retain their followers, two of them are so badly deformed that the bolt head actually pushes the follower into the chamber on an empty mag. Every single one of them has trouble receiving the fifth round and more trouble spitting it back out, except for one, which will not take five rounds, and if you insert more than two, the follower will jam inside the mag and all loaded rounds will fall out the top loose.

I cannot fire a full mag without at least two jams, and one may have been so severe that it damaged my extractor.

This is a gun that's had 1 malf in four years, and two weeks ago it ran so badly that I had only slightly more successful shots than malfunctions.

It makes me really sad because they look good, they Let me get a lot lower than my 20 rounders, and they're not cheap compared to the 20's but they're a fraction of what other 5 or 10 rounders cost.

They're kinda cool, being that they're the actual training mags used by the Spanish military. I'm just bummed out. I expected to get a couple bad ones for the price, but six out of six that absolutely will not cooperate is a real disappointment.

Well, that's not good. I have not tried either one of mine out yet. I hope they are not the same as yours.

The pouch works great though. Lol!
