I happen to own one, and as soon as I saw it, I thought "that looks just like the marking on the receiver of my No.4 Mk 1 !!
Marking (stamp) does not look like my two, but still would not rule it out (LOL)
Occam's razor, the simplest explanation will be the most plausible
Could be that the early ones had a bit different markings.
