At that price unless its unsafe, its proably mildly crossive, due to the fact the .308 round isnt that old, I would be on it for sure, if not for tradeing fodder.
Still building bigger and better bombs for your brighter tommrows(aw heck and takeing them apart and demilling them for that tommrow too)

Henry, the claim is that some of the former soviet bloc stuff has primers that are considered mildly corrosive, thus called that by the ammo sellers. I guess some the older amm has much more harsh primers than later ones. If they take the compounds that make the salts that settle on the barrel, out of the primers or lessen them the problems are in relation to those salts left over after combustion of the powders.

I think the stuff advertised at mildy crrossive was Ingman? I think.

Some say windex, or other ammonium solutions. I am sure there are those who shoot far more of this than I have that can give better answers.

We need to know more, but the phrase, Buyer Beware, comes to mind. I suspect the guy either is clueless about current ammo prices, or he is trying to dump this stuff off on someone. I'd look twice before jumping in on this deal. It might be the dreaded Indian OFV ammo.

If it's czech run back and throw money at him! That's $400 to $500 a case now. At least it is here.

Shoot it. Run a patch of soapy water or windex or just plain water down the barrel when you're done. Dry patch, couple of oiled patches if you're not going to clean it right away. The more humidity in your area the sooner it should be cleaned. The water dissolves the corrosive salts, but you still want the mixture out of the barrel before covering the metal in oil.
