Cetme Build, G3 or CETME Rear Sight?

As ORF is soon to release the G3 Receiver,http://rapidfire.targetweb.net/cgi-b...m=on&ppinc=big
I need to know if I should go with CETME rear sight or go with a G3 sight?
My gun smith says to go with the G3 as its adjustable.
I like the G3 sight but not sure if I should stay original?

RTG has the G3 sight bases for welding onto the receiver, if it doesn't come with the base already. In either case bore sight your triple frame before welding the cocking tube and pinning triple frame. (Originally tf was pinned, some braze it instead (silver solder). CETME adjustment is very limited, with just an offset pin on threaded stud for front sight.

If I were building one, I'd use the G3 site. It seems more useful to me.

If you want it to be recognised as a Cetme, use the Cetme rear sight.
Iff you are going to use the iron sights, use the HK set up..

You get the same sight picture with both of them , but I still like the G3 rear sight better.

One other thing to consider is that the G3 rear sight base has the saddle on it to control movement of the claw scope mount, while the CETME one does not.

I'd go with the G-3 site, especially since ORF will put the base on the receiver for you.

I don't plan on using the sight. I will claw mount scope it.
Looks like the G3 will work best.
