Hi, I am new here and haven't posted before, but i have a question about my winchester 1897 t/d. I have just gotten an old one from an auction house locally and was planning on converting it to trenchgun like my mod 12. The problem is that the gunsmith in my county (the only one that does a good job) died last year. He did my mod 12 and explaned it to me and I figure that I can do it at the shop I work at (after hours of course). I have it down to the barrel and the receiver extension and it isn't budging. I have already got some tool marks on the extension and don't want to make it worse- i can clean them up. I have already soaked it in pb blaster and would appreciate any advice on this. thanks
