    Thompson 1928 A1 semi build

    just finished this build and have a very long build thread on it at weaponsguild.com

    heres some pix..












    ok with the first video you will see the trigger stick on the disconnector once!! just had a burr on it....



    next is the short drum test



    had a huge storm coming in and jsut wanted to get these up real quick ... longer vids later.

    I am not a member over there, so I am assuming reweld of the cut receiver? What did you use for FCG, a modified original with the FA selector blocked?
    There is always room for another AK or 1911.

    full auto selector??? i thought it is a auto only weapon.....
    is that really a 16" barrel?

    just added a couple of quick vids for you.....

    do you have to be a member to see this??


    its a reweld upper with my own "creation" of bolt mods and AR lower set up with some way serious lower mods to get all the original stuff to still operate in there..


    Tex, didnt want to try and use a striker build and thats what it would have taken to use the original stuff in the sear set up it had... then you still had to deal with discon and all the other goodies so a scratch build inside the original package seemed the best way to go.

    if enough people are interested, i'll wind up bringing the full build here too.

    you hrt me.... this is a semi auto conversion build!!! meets all the 922r and the barrel is actually 16 and 3/16" long ... lmao

    ya really ought to go check out the long version of this build at beltfed or weapons guild.com

    im not Pirate, but im pretty happy with this one.

    not trying to hurt you, just questions. my carbine kp44 just looks redickulously longer with the 16.??" barrel. it is the ant eater for sure.
