Stag Arm AR aftermarket trigger groups?

I just bought my southpaw wife a Stag Arms model 4L. I am never happy with factory triggers, they leave a lot to be desired. With that in mind, I am considering sending it to Bill Springfield for some trigger work. He has done three triggers for me and I am quite happy with the results. So that would be option one. Option two is finding a drop in aftermarket quality trigger group. Timney, McCormick, Jewel and JP Enterprises are some of the makers I know. Anyone have one of these or other expensive triggers and would care to comment about it, positive or negative. Worth the money? Did it just drop in or need fitting? Would you recommend it to a friend? Thanks for the help.

    Hi,

Are you looking for a 2 stage or single, then what kind of pull weight are you looking for? One can spend 3 to 5X what I charge for working you trigger group.

Definately give Bill a try before spending to much for a trigger. Both of mine he did for me are night and day compared to before.

Mid I'm sure Bill will answer but I believe all you need to do is send him your lower. Price think was around 40-50 dollars and that included shipping. I'm not positive on that though.

The trigger jobs Bill S. has done for me are outstanding, and the turn around time fantastic. I just wanted to explore all options before deciding which way to go on the trigger. I would definitely have Bill do more trigger work for me in the future as I am a happy camper as far as his work goes.

Its $35 for the 4lbs and $49 for the 3lbs pull, only the fire control group is needed. Quick turnaround time. Contact me direct at wspringfield@comcast.net.

    Thanks,
