Here is the BEFORE pic:
1990 FN Hi Power (Mk2.5) from the Israeli border guards. The yellow tape supposedly identified undercover 'friendlies' in a gunfight.
I'm going to switch to a no-bite ring hammer, some Novak sights, give in a trigger a tune, throat and polish the feed ramp and then parkerized refinish. Right now I am busy practice parking just about everything in the garage that isn't bolted to a car!

My second Israeli Police Pistol; the first was a High Power; shown below
Beretta Model 84BB .380. The local Gander Mountain had 7 of them; trying to figure out there history; one magazine baseplate had a sticker printed in Hebrew. Not a lot of info but its a hi-cap (13+1) pocket pistol. The first gun was a Belgium made High Power; a Jerusalem Police District gun.

I bought this S&W Model 19 .357 Combat Mag and holster in 1977 while stationed in Alaska. I have carried it on official operations, in the back country (mountains) of Alaska, hunting/fishing trips, hiking/camping
and it has seen some time under the seat of a pickup truck too. A few months ago I discovered I still had the original box with paperwork, which is amazing considering I had made nearly 20 moves all over the
country/world after I bought it. I really love this gun and think .357 has to be one of the best handgun cartridges ever made.

NICE! I'm glad these don't show signs of rust. I was going to recommend we have an intervention.![]()
